beautiful but somewhat tedious

A beautiful movie with a good story and cool elements like special seven swords produced by a master living in mountains.
It begins with scenes of violence of the emperor’s general that is about fulfilling his assignment to destroy anybody practicing martial arts. Now the guy is paid for every head so he is just trying to make as much money as possible sparing neither children nor civilians.
There is just one remote village left where martial arts are still practiced. This little group is not strong enough to protect themselves. The mountain master gives his seven masterpiece swords to the seven different people who are able to protect the innocent people from slaughter. |
