I've spent all of my almost 50 years living and working in Boston. This film nailed it! The story line was strong, and inspiring. It was warm, and funny, and sad, and uplifting. I felt like it wraped its arms around me and carried me through very fimiliar terriotory. The acting was great. The characters were so true I felt I knew each one of them. I've been thinking about them all week, wanting to go to the pub and have pint with them. I love that this movie showed Boston, its beauty, it's neighborhoods, and it's character. It's been three days since my viewing and I'm still thinking about it and chuckling. I can't wait for its' general release because I have a long list of (real) friends who will love it. This is one I'll see a few more times on the big screen and buy to add to my collection. |
