this movie makes Saudi Arabia look like downtown Baghdad. there are no explosions or death-defying car chases going on in Riyadh, i can garauntee you. Saudi is one of the safest countries in the Middle East, and although their police force and military are at times incompetent, don't take this story as passing for real-life. i appreciate it as a fictional account of a real event (unfortunately Saudi has seen its share of terrorist activity in recent years) but such crimes are dealt with swiftly and very strictly in that country. trust me, you don't want to see the lethal consequences of even a non-violent crime, like public executions. i have. |
