This movie was by far the worse holiday movie ever. well, for starters the whole storyline projects a complete disfunctional lifestyle to kids. It shows that it's ok to be battered. Come on what are we trying to project to our kids. When Nancy said "You freed me" it made me gag. this is a complete slave mentality that a woman was in bondage to a man and another man freed her come on. Just because its realistic doesnt mean its ok to have our kids grow up thinking its ok. The writters even went so far to have the kids say "what happened, whats with all the cooking" It took a man to come into the mothers life to bake a cake for her kids. Then the oldest son makes a battered statement: "so what they argue all the time, thats what people do when they love eachother." If it wasn't for the few funny moments I would have left in an outrage. This movie does'nt even deserve to be bootlegged. It's one of those movies that you watch when it finally gets on TNT and theres nothing else on tv, when the news is boring. |
