Simply put, this was a wonderful film. It had heart, laughs and did a great job of connecting the viewer with the characters. What I noticed most was the obvious absence of foul language and subtle adult jokes that have seemed to permeate most family films in recent years. None of that here. And yes, I, at 41 years old, still laughed repeatedly without it. Perhaps other film makers can take a lesson here and follow suit. It would be refreshing. Alan Wing. |
