I wanted to like this movie, I really did. But it turns out to be just another studio turd flush at summer's end, when studios dump unwanted product after the hot summer blockbuster bash and before the fall/winter oscar heatup. People, we'd be well served to do early Christmas shopping and avoid the theatres for 6 weeks.
ACTING
Dane Cook...what can one say? he started out so hot and fell so fast. He's just lame. Too egotistical. He tries to steal every scene. He just doesn't have good screen presence, he never will. Jessica is hot, but that's where it ends. She's the most overrated thing since the Mona Lisa. Pretty to look at, but....
There is NO chemistry between these two.
STORY
Lord, not much here. Predicatable. Can her bad luck streak end? Much of the plot is crafted around excuses to show alba in her underwear.
SUMMARY
Wait til cable. Not even worth DVD rental. |
