Not what you would expect!

I was fortunate enough to see a sneak preview of this movie. From all the previews, the way the movie is marketed, etc., I was expecting a light-hearted movie. What I got was a drama with some comedic parts thrown in. Not that there's anything wrong with that. The movie was excellent. And, despite my disgust for the "new" Lindsay Lohan, I thought she did an exceptional job in the movie, as did the Emmy-winning Felicity Huffman and Oscar-winning Jane Fonda. I'm so glad to see Jane Fonda back in films, and this film/role is a worthy credit to add her fantastic career.
Do please see this movie -- but don't expect anything like what is being promoted in the previews. This has some heavy subject matters which might not be for the prudish! |
