This is pretty much the best independent comedy I've seen in a long time. David, a high-strung New York Jew meets Layla; an incredibly attractive Islamic girl. Chemistry goes, they fall in love and a mass of family culture clashes lead through a light hearted affair cutting the religious barrier. Definitely a spirit lifter I'd catch a.s.a.p.
It's currently in small distribution throughout the major cities (N.Y./L.A. plus a few) but deserves the widest range of audience possible since the movie really is great. |
