I was really excited to see this movie, the trailer looked great and it seemed like a very interesting topic to make a movie about.
Instead I found myself laughing at scenes in this movie which were unintentional, and my friends were laughing as well.
Th action does get started pretty fast but like all of Roland Emmerich's previous films (The Day After Tomorrow) all of the action is shown in the trailers and the visuals looked fake in this movie.
The dialogue was horrible, the acting was at its worst and a horrible love story to top it all off. They had a narrator talking throughout the movie which was annoying he would be talking about stuff that I already knew about because they just showed it happen but he would just repeat it.
After a while I couldn't take it, they refer to the creatures as four legged demons, it just made me laugh, and I walked out after the flamingo looking creatures chased them and I actually asked for my money back and I was sucessfull.
I love fantasy movies but this one didn't cut it it was boring and un interesting I felt like I could have wrote a much better script.
Yes I am being harsh but I want to convince as many people as I can note to waste their time.
Even my friends ten year old son who tagged along bursted out in laughter and thats saying something, if you go see this you might be saying we should have listened to that guy on the internet and if not then you must have a bad taste in movies. |
