Well, 10000 BC is basically a love story. I know most movies have one in them but this movie is pretty much based around a love story. This film is about a boy who falls in love with this girl who his people found out in the snow somewhere then brought back to their camp. As they both grow up so does their love for each other. Well along comes these people from a far off land and capture a bunch of his people (along with his woman) to take back with them and be slaves. The slaves are being used to build pyramids and things for this person whom everyone thinks is a god. The young warrior tracks down the love of his life and along the way befriends many different people and becomes a man and a warrior. Ok, now to the critique. This movie was nothign new. The acting wasn't all that great. The story wasn't anything new, they even added a narrator ( it made me think they were trying to rip off a little of the movie 300 ). Even the action sucked in the movie. I was pretty bored to be honest. I wasn't caught up in the movie at all. The special effects were cool but they didn't blow me away. Overall this movie just was boring...it wasn't unwatchable, but i wouldnt pay to see it. |
