Mr. Cheadle was absolutely, unquestionably, without a smidgling of a doubt profound in his portrayal of Petey Green. When I heard that he was portraying Petey, I was more than skeptical. Doubtless, Mr. Cheadle is one of my favorite actors, still I could not see him in this role. Petey was a lot taller and lighter skinned than Mr. Cheadle so I couldn't make the connection. however, as soon as Mr. cheadle appeared in the first scene, I lost sight of Don Cheadle and saw Petey Greeen who I knew personally. Petey would be quite flattered and pleased with Mr. Cheadle portrayal. I've always loved Mr. Cheadle's acting, especially his portrayal of "Mouse" in the movie "The Devil In a Blue Dress," and I just want to say that as far as great acting is concerned... He'S DONE IT AGAIN!!! |
