Don Cheadle was superb. The man just has so much depth no matter what he touches. Chiwetel Ejofor was, as always, wonderful. Taraji Henson (who just gets better and better with each film) was great! Being from the DC area, and experiencing the end of the Petey Green era, this film struck me on several levels-it felt real, I was fascinated as he grew as a person over the years and evolved in his personal relationships. Also, it was interesting to relive the angst of the 60's and 70's. This is a sleeper that is one of the best this summer! |
