Honestly this film wasn't what I was expecting it to be, with such a great cast I thought it would be the first GREAT film of 2008.
Let me start by saying the average user will like this movie, but in no way does this deserve an A+, its a thriller not one of the best, there was a good car chase scene but its not The Bourne Ultimatum.
Now the film wasn't BAD but it flawed here and there the movie went on a pattern like this:
liked, flaw, flaw, liked, flaw, flaw, liked, flaw for me anyways.
The acting was suprisingly mediocre and Dennis Quaid saved this film for me, I'm glad they're bringing him to back into movies. But honestly the acting is nothing to rave about and I believe thats what disappionted me the most the performances at times were just laughable way overacted.
Overall I suggest you rent this one stay at home wait for the Oscars to come, this one is nothing to rush out to see its just your average thriller not terrible but certainly not great as I hoped it would, this is the first big disappiontment so far this year. |
