Well it wasn't GREAT. But the concept was great, and most of my audience didn't have a grasp on that concept.
The basic idea is that 8 lives are involved somehow with this huge assassination, and each new viewpoint provides a ton of more information or plot twists to further the story. The way the script was written is that basically at the end of each viewpoint, the viewers are left with a very suspenseful situation. So they get really mad because it's like we have to start over again. However, each story connects again and everything is explained more and more and there are quite a few incredible plot twists, and they simply cannot be given away at the beginning of the movie.
The director made some huge mistakes. He allows a bomb to kill and wound several, while many of the main characters are barely harmed by it. Whaddya know? He also had a man hit by two cars who did not even end up with a limp. He had one of the main characters get into 2 very fatal car accidents and come out with barely a scratch, while the "bad guys" never fare nearly that well.
It's just holes. Some of the acting was cheesy, and some of the plot was cheesy. Other than that, I thought the movie was pretty exhilirating and an interesting experience if you have an open, patient mind. |
