I had not read any review's, and only caught a glimpse of the trailer, and was pleasantly surprised when I viewed this movie today!
I truly enjoy a film which takes you on a ride of everyone's perspective, leading up to the event of what the movie's plot is all about.
The director Pete Travis, took us all on a journey through his lens, which portrayed his vision unto us the viewers quite successfully. While your viewing each participants role in the film, you get to piece, for yourself what led up to, and who was involved in the plot of this movie theme.
It was clever, and action packed, never a dull moment.... Certainly no time to visit the snack stand or the restrooms, because you didn't want to miss a frame.
Dennis Quaid was great in this role, and it was an added feature to see him in this dramatic action film.
Matthew Fox was a bit enigmatic, and when you discover who he is, you are surprised, which ultimately is what the director wanted us to enjoy.
Forest role was the everyday tourist, but with a Mrs.Kravitz keen type of interest, in who and what is around him. All in all the cast, and the pace of this movie was above reproach, and definitely worth while seeing. It was the fastest 90 minutes I've enjoyed in a long, long time!! |
