So they took a movie that had a story, TONS of suspense, twists and turns galore, great acting and turned it into a pushbutton gore-fest.
What a waste.
The story was simplified. Why? (It's not like the ORIGINAL story was too complex)
The suspense was replaced by blood & guts. Again why? (The suspense was what MADE the first one!)
In the end, I'd recommend NOT seeing this film.
Instead of dropping 10$+ on this, head down to blockbuster and get the original and have enough change for a pizza.
Better story, better experience.
(And Rutger Hauer makes a WAAAAY better bad guy!) |
