I deeply dislike most modern "horror movies" but
felt that this was an important one to see because it tells a true story and so is really
of a different genre. It should raise awareness of the still serious problem of abuse and fear of speaking up when we can make a difference.
Sylvia Likens is movingly potrayed by Ellen Page.
I was heartened to see the memorial erected by
the Indianapolis Police in 2001 to Sylvia Likens.
May she rest in God and may noone rest comfortably while children continue to be abused
It must end completely and forever. |
