First of all, I based my decision about going to this movie on the reviews written here on yahoo... something I rarely do. It is with great displeasure that I cannot see how this movie earned a rating of an "A" from the critics and "B+" from the users. Is there something that I am missing here. Apparently, most of these "user critics" come a dark background and thereby revel in this kind of stuff.
This movie is about a stupid idiot that finds a bunch of cash from a bad drug deal and can do no right... a killer that is chasing him that trys to show some intelligence (a Hannibal, he is not)... and an old Sheriff that is either smart or stupid, you really can't tell... all I know is that he looked stupid. This is a movie where the whole time watching, I am waiting for something to make sense. I hated this movie so much that I could not leave in hopes of something of merit would come along, but it didn't not even at the end, when it just ended... yes it just ended with no sense.
'No Country for Old Men' is TOO dark for me!
It is a waste of time!
It is not artistic... it is rather morbid!
If you like it then you are a freak!
I cannot even rate the other categories, this is a big FAT "F" |
