SO I actually saw this a few months ago, but from what I hear it's pretty much the same retarded story.
Back in the day, homies dad was killed by his own Puerto Rican gang, and his mom went into hiding with him so they would not be killed also. Years later, dude is now a man, going into college and nows nothing about his father's criminal past. Until circumstances arise where he must be told, in waaaaay overdramatic fashion, by his mom, that his dad was a drug dealer, but a good one! And that even though he was a criminal, he did not deserve what happened to him.
Anyway, the mob now knows where they are, and are coming for them. So son decides the only way to stop them is to go to Puerto Rico himself and straighten ***** out! But first, he must learn to shoot a gun, and he does this quickly, through the magic of montage.
So mom and son end up settlin' up with the crooks and all is well in the end... except the fact that John Singleton thought this was a good career move to attach his name to this garbage and several dozen people are going to be very upset that they spent money to see this in theaters.
Truly, movies this bad should be ILLEGAL. |
