I loved City of God and it will always be 1 of my favorite movies. Thats why I had to check this 1 out at an independent theater 60 miles away. Let me tell you this, it was definitely worth the drive. The cinematography in this movie was phenomenal and the cast was kickin. Like Shaggy, or Steak from City of God??? Be prepared for a surprise then because they're in this movie as well. The plot was pretty cool, surprisingly more in depth and complex than City of God. Not too much drug activity in this movie. It's more about gang affiliations that destroy passionate friendships. Overall best film of 2008 so far! but like i said it lacked exposure so go see it and support sum indie film. |
