Sinking Depravity

This whole concept is disgusting. I'd say that I can't believe this movie has been mad - but I CAN believe it, since our world is so messed up. People have to stop assuming the public will be ok with this, and/or can handle this type of movie. It would be better not to make such a movie at all then to have even one person morally disturbed from the viewing and release of such filth. The publicity of teen prostitution like this will only lead to it being more and more acceptable in culture. It already existed before this movie was made, yes, and perhaps this movie is merely a social comment on this pre-existent reality (I do not believe that this was the intention for the film). However, making this into a desirable movie to watch only pushes the people who view it further to the edge of sinking depravity, stretching the limits of what is deemed acceptable behaviour and acceptable content. I think we may all agree that human beings, in general, are impressionable and highly susceptible to external influences presented to us and pushed upon us. It is also common knowledge that the younger someone is, the more impressionable they are, because they're brains and minds are still developing. So, teens who see this might even disagree with the act, but it is still placed in their conscious, which means the next time they hear about something like secret teen prostitution, it won't be as shocking as the first time, then the next time it will be even less concerning, until it becomes near common place and society ends up saying something like "oh, well I guess that's just part of reality, and it's the personal, individual, private choice of some people" implying that such activity should be tolerated. People are having sex at younger and younger ages as of late - teens, and even preteens. A movie like this only perpetuates the commonplace of it all, leading to blind acceptance of what was once considered blatant perversion. Furthermore, the movie is presented and clothed as something erotically taboo, which inevitably draws a vast amount of sexual appeal. This movie is also giving older, married men the idea that they can get away with cheating on their wives - with minors even - and that this might even be an ok way to conduct your life.

I won't bother asking "CAN you stand for this"; I must ask "WILL you stand for this?"
