Why did this movie seem so long, so predictable, and such a waste of talented individuals. Danny De Vito came off best as the "wacky neighbor". Matthew Broderick seems to have the "sounds like he is reading a script" disease that he caught in The Producers as the "straight neighbor". The Odd Couple did it so much better.
There are about 3 laughs in this comedy; my 10 year old daughter didn't laugh at all.
Do yourself a favor, and rent A Christmas Story, or It's A Wonderful Life or ANYTHING. Just don't go to this train wreck of a film. |
