As much as I hate Michael Moore as a person, this documentary touched at the heart of the problem of inadequate health care standards. The message wasn't "everything free for everybody." It was, "fair health care for everybody." Why should prisoners get better health care than working Americans? Why should people have to get pre-approval for emergency services? (What part of "emergency" am I missing?) Yes, Michael Moore injects his one-sided ultra-liberal views. That's what makes the movie entertaining. But if you can look past that to the real issues surrounding our defunct health care system, you'll walk away a much better person. |
