I love this film. Sure, it's a bit slow at times, but it's meaningful, well-acted, and yes, quirky.
I thought it a bit like "Little Miss Sunshine," so anyone who's a fan should check this out.
I was very impressed by Evan Rachel Wood. With her role as Miranda, she's proving herself a strong female actress. She'll be one to watch out for.
I was charmed by Michael Douglas, who's portrayal of Miranda's fresh out of the mental institution father is done extremely well.
The story was a very interesting and moving one, and I think that this was directed rather well for a first-timer.
In conclusion, I enjoyed this a lot and am planning on watching it again soon. |
