We went to see typical Hollywood fare - Ocean's Thirteen. It was atrocoius.
It was so bad in fact, we decided to take a chance and try La Vie En Rose.
Both my wife and I ageed, this is the best movie of 2007. Nothing else is close.
If you have heard Edith Piaf sing before and like her music, this film is a must see. If you have never heard the woman sing and think that pre-Sanatra era French songs are probably not for you, still go to see this movie.
The power of the story and the manner in which Marion Cotillard caries the lead role may bring you to tears. This is one movie you will never forget. It will move you. Guaranteed.
If foreigners keep making this kind of movie product, Hollywood - with their repetitive tripe - will soon go the way of the Edsel. |
