This movie touched my heart and soul. It shows the everyday struggles of men, women, and children living here illegally in the Uunited States. These people overcome obstacles in order to survive, and take care of loved ones back home because there is very little opportunity in their country. If you’re not born into money, or are part of a corrupt government system it is very hard to make ends meet. Being born into poverty means no education... No education= No good job.... They weekly wages in Mexico for 40+ hours a week is about $25.00 USD! No one can live of that nowadays. A lot of these people are honest hard working folks who want to work and better their lives. They're also willing to do any kind of job that we here in our country wouldn't dream of doing. We are very lucky to have been born in a free nation that respects our rights and helps us out when we’re down on our luck. Under The Same Moon is a must see for all. This movie teaches you not to take things for granted, and to never to give up hope when all seems lost. It is a beautiful and emotional story. |
