I only give this movie a D- (as opposed to and F) because Nicholas Cage deserves better.
Captivated by the previews of a possibly enjoyable suspence thriller that doesn't include extreme sex and violence sequences, I made sure to be and the first viewing of this movie. I loved Nicholas Cage in his recent "World Trade Center" appearance and thought: 'I can't miss this one!'
How DISSAPOINTED was I!! The story was circular and seemingly pointless until the very end when you finally realized, this movie sucked.
At points jovial, but overall, worthless. This movie promises to be a "straight to DVD" feature that is unlikely to even make it to the channel 217 Saturday matinee.
If this is the only movie that you might want to see this weekend, remember this: after the movie is over, you'll feel the 2 1/2 hours would have been better spent watching the shopping network. |
