yeah... so about this movie. umm, the story was fairly interesting and it had some promise to it, and the ending of the movie, although maybe not a huge twist was one that caught me off gaurd a little, and i give the movie props for that. otherwise, the movie was bad. by about the 3rd line of dialogue of the movie, i could tell something was wrong, maybe she was just a bad actress, but as the movie progressed, i realized that the writing in this movie was HORRIBLE. it was about a cop who recieves a letter from who you later find out was his ex-fiance that her child has gone missing (this child is completely unrelated to the girl seen in the previews in the station wagon... and that girl in no way helps along the plot of the movie). he then goes to an island where his ex is living in search of her daughter, only to find himself part of an isidious plot. this movie was bad. the story was alright. the writing made me laugh out loud. it was not scary. now i'm sure if you've seen the original movie, then you know that it isn't a scary movie, its a drama with a crazy ending, but even when they made attempts to frighten you in this movie, they failed. dont waste 8 bucks on this movie... its not worth it |
