No bull here! Three very ordinary, normal, average US citizens, all of whom willing to go the extra mile for their country, record a fraction of what they went through in an honest and frank manner. We are asked to sit an hour-and-a-half for what three guys spent a year in, and see and feel only part of what they went through.
If you can view this without being drawn into every thought behind every phrase, you are deaf. There's no politics here, just the real-life reaction to being put in a tough position and seeing the reality first-hand. We don't.
All soldiers have always complained. Look back through every historical text.
These complaints are cogent and current. Although from 2004, the same runs true today.
And then the home front . . . .
And then the hidden repurcussions for these three and every soldier who has served. Wow! Let alone the wounded or crippled or brain damaged. And the dead.
Yes! Compulsory viewing. Has G.W.Bush seen it? |
