This film features one of the most original ideas ever to steal all its material from other, albeit eclectic, sources as wide-ranging as BBC's The Office, This Is Spinal Tap, The Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween and Friday the 13th. Imagine that every (evil) bad guy from the films above did actually exist and carry out the acts of horror on towns folk. How on earth would you get into that kinda gig? What would you have to do to train? Who could help and guide you?

Featuring Robert Englund playing a psychologist bent on catching Leslie Vernon (Nathan Baesal) before he begins his killing spree this film is one of the funniest and increasingly dark films of recent years and pokes fun at plot inconsistencies, indestructable maniacs and walking that is actually faster than running (al la Michael Myers). Nathan Baesel is like a young Jim Carrey in his part as the killer Leslie Vernon with enough energy, springiness and, most alarmingly, commitment to "the business" and provides a multi-faceted acting style ranging from the hilarious to cringingly funny to downright shocking and spooky.

This is a film everyone should see.
