Terrific Suspense

Great acting combined with an intimate style of fear, have created a sense of paranoia and suspense in a film that is both griping and challenging. The story is built up well and editing was decent clean cuts.
The movie is about a group of arctic surveyors who work for an oil company that are being infected with some kind of dormant toxin that has been recently let loose as a result of global warming. Through a series of sub conscious paranoia attacks the team begins to fracture and one by one die. A lot of the suspense is built up on the premise that this unknown entity or toxic gas is the cause.
There are some scenes where the director tries to confuse the audience. Where characters believe that there is a force of nature that is out to get them. However that possibility is ruled out when two of the group members are together and one sees some kind of specter and the other does not. It isn't made very clear until the end when the lone survivor wakes up in a hospital and finds a doctor who has hung himself. And even before that there is never any indication that something other than natural causes is a result of any of the deaths.
It was really well done there could have been some minor improvements but it wasn't enough to rate this film anything less than an A-.
