As an Algerian , living in the USA now . I say OUUF finally a movie that shows the reality of what happened.
After the Algerians freed FRANCE and came back to ALGERIA. They were savagely opressed because they claimed their freedom....the one that was promised to them after the war.
Americans wont see nor care for this movie which is a huge mistake.IT would be a great insight of the double standars that the great European/Western Nations did and do up to this day.

There were Algerians who colaborated with French colonists they were called HARKIS. That happened in 1950s. Do you know why? I tell you why ..French people tortured and Raped many Algerian freedom wariors and force them to commit
crimes against their own once they were ashamed and made in subhumans....but who knows maybe you are from a small town somewhere with limited WORLD knowledge who doesn t care to know the reality of the WORLD.
