I understand this movie wasn't supposed to be taken seriously and I also understand it was supposed to be cartoony, campy, and funny. Pretty much everything here was bad though. The acting, visuals, and stories were all lame. This movie is done in a Tales From The Crypt in the ghetto style. It contains three stories:
CROSSED OUT: A woman is given a magic gift by a demon. She can kill people by simply spraypainting over their graffitti. Needless to say, all does not end well. This story was boring and predictable with some very stupid deaths and fake looking gore.
My Grade: D
THE SCUMLORD: A man will inherit his father's money, if he can live a year with his dad's old Vietnam veterans. He is extremely rude to his dad's buddies and they decide to teach him and his snotty wife a lesson. Still lame and predictable but with a slightly better story.
My Grade: D+
RHAPSODY ASCEW: A rapper is reminded of the night when his partner was killed. Is there more to the story than he remembers? This was the best out of the three but it was still only okay. The special effects in this story come off decent though.
My Grade: C
Overall, this is probably one of the worst anthologies I've ever seen. I know it wasn't supposed to be taken seriously but it offers little to no camp value and comes off as unfunny and annoying. Not Recommended.
