If you like Will Ferrel movies you'll love Blades. It's classic Will humor with a better back drop than Taladega Nights could provide (although that movie is better on the second watch). Napolean Dynamite pulls his wieght in this one as well making the perfect partner in crime on the ice for Ferrel. Are these type of movies ever going to win an Oscar? No. Yet, if you like this type of comedy it's a can't miss and you'll laugh your heart out. Doesn't quite live up to Anchor Man which provided so many unforgettable lines, but it beats the legend of Ricky Bobby. Go see it |
