This is the sort of film the French have always done exceptionally well. While the storyline is trite and often predictable it is the film's manner, attitude and pace that makes it sparkle. Always amusing, charming and fun with wonderful performances all-around. Alice Taglioni is particularly great to watch - in addition to being jaw-droppingly beautiful she is a wonderful actress whose style and screen presence reminds me of Juliette Binoche. Well worth the money. |
