Fun for the whole family

I see this movie as a renewed ET: kids rule in a world of adults. I guess every generation needs a reminder of what being a kid mins and this is this generation's.
Theater was almost full of kids today and they liked it a lot. After the showing I heard people talking about it, my wife and daughter loved it, as an innocent story described from the eyes of a child.
On the highlights of the movie, there is the story behind it, some light jokes that only adults get, the visuals. On the lowlights, some of the acting is poor (and I am not referring to the kids). Overall, very good entertainment.
I think they make the dad of the family look silly, but that is what kid's movies are about: making fun of adults.
Another thing I like about the movie: it makes you think. You have a taste of something good after you leave the theater. Go with your kids and enjoy together. |
