I felt the movie was really inspirational; as far as original maybe not but that's Hollywood for you, they put out what they think will sale and because dance films have done so well in the past, they knew this one would sale. If you want an original story, go pick up a book. We expect too much from Hollywood. I applaud the creative minds behind this project, because although it was another dance movie, the main character represents a lot of black people; hard working, strong, intelligent, goal oriented and determined (if you don't know any like that you need to get out more) KUDOS!! |
