i am going to have to rate this in favor of the positive since i couldn't sit through more than 45 minutes, so i cannot in all fairness give this 'rockumentary' an F or D. i sat through the entire 45 minutes and never laughed ONCE. i'm very upset i actually BOUGHT this stink bomb!
if you're thinking this movie is going to be like Spinal Tap (as it was advertised on the packaging) it is NOT! - Spinal Tap was FUNNY!!!! --and to further give you info before you say "well, you're not a musician so you don't understand it!" - i am a guitarist and have been one for over 30 years. i'm not totally out of the whole concept here.
i'll give it a "B" for originality of idea - and because i did love the use of Hello Kitty as part of C-Diddy's costume.
it's possible this just wasn't the right day to attempt this film for me. i'm going to give it another go later this weekend.
so ok... what's next? i guess i will await the 'rockumentary' about some dude learning to play those tiny finger drums on ****.com |
