Fun movie!

When I heard this premise, I wasn't sure that this was going to be more comedy or more slasher. Truth be told it's both and it's a lot of fun to watch. Besides what's not to like about it's goofy premise: Hippies go into Woodstockesque place and are menaced by rednecks who are then attacked by a guy wearing a Ronald Reagan mask. The movie may not be a work of art, and there's some pretty bad acting at times but it's just hysterical seeing how this movie moves. Not to mention it's got some fairly familiar actors in it such as Thomas Jane, Jason Mewes (Better known as "Jay" in Kevin Smith movies (Clerks, Mallrats etc.), and even Paul "Pee Wee" Reubens. There's gore, there's laughs and you'll probably find yourself wanting to watch it again. If you're a gore fan with a dark sense of humor I highly recommend this movie. |
