I was hoping for a good follow up movie to the previous white noise movie which I found original and entertaining. Although, I was expecing more emphasis on the ominous figures that haunt the first movie.
This movie did preserve the chills but with poorer acting. Keaton did a spectacular job at keeping the suspense and intrigue high, something which fails in this one. The twist in the story does how-ever keep things a little interesting. Trying not to figure out the story was a challenge, it was far too predictable but still entertaining once I let myself sink into the chilly atmosphere.
The visuals where quite pathetic in the beggining and the white noise that seemingly 'follows' the protagonist seems somewhat lame, for lack of a better term.
In all fairness, it wasn't the worst movie I've seen but mediocrity always kinda sucks. |
