Saw this 3 weeks after my father died. I sobbed throughout most of the movie. It was a tearjerker, but probably more so due to my fresh emotional state. Loved Julie Christie, she deserves the awards for Best Actress. Loved the setting and the cross country skiing segments. I thought Olympia Dukkakis was great too! The story was interesting and clearly followed through well. Didn't leave you hanging, you knew what was next. Would highly recommend. |
