It's the time of year that we get bombarded with jewelry ads all the way through February 14. This movie was a nice juxtaposition to those ads for me and brings things back to reality. No relationship is perfect and if you think it will be...you'll be sorely disappointed.
Although the characters showed a great range of honest and believable emotions... they didn't communicate well between one another, thusly adding to their problems. They were talking to all the wrong people instead of addressing the person who caused the hurt. I think a lot of us can identify with that.
The one thing the movie didn't do for me was to make me want to root for any of the characters. That I think was my biggest disappointment with it. But I liked seeing their stories develop and it really picked up momentum at the end.
