Hold on to your tusks, cause not even Tarzan did as much for elephants as this guy does. Let me start out by saying that this movie has me laughing so hard that tears were rolling down my face and I couldn't breath. I had to turn away from the screen just to escape my cramping and snorting (and I don't usually snort when I laugh).
I was not laughing becuase the movie was bad. I was laughing because the action was so CRAZY STUPID (awesome) that I just couldn't take it. It was THE BEST martial arts movie I have ever seen. It took the realistic (quick and devastating) action that Bruce Lee used added the "you can't touch me" agility that Jackie Chan uses, and topped it off with more than a touch of the artful Jet Li style. It took the Blood sport (buffet of opponents with various styles) and mixed it with the "I don't care how many dudes you got" movie aspects and smashed them together.
The action just keeps on building and building until, well, you start snorting. Damn elephants, always getting into trouble. I love this movie. I'll see it again and then I'll buy the DVD.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh YEAH! Go see this one! |
