Greetings from malaysia!
Before watching this movie, I was prepared for the expected, but I wasn't prepared for the unexpected. the dialogues are simply witty and funny!
"Tower? I'm staying in a tower?? What am I, Rapunzel?"
"I like your earrings. They're very round. That's my favourite shape."
"60,000 dollars?! No no no... I'm not selling this place for 60,000 dollars. That's crazy! Are you crazy? This view is worth more than sixty-thousand dollars! My shoes are worth more than sixty-thousand!"
"Oh. Oh yea.. look at that."
"You f***y!" (rotfl!!)
"Not JinJiang, Jin Mao Mao MAO MAO!"
... and many many more!
How can you NOT love a movie with witty lines like these? ;)
For me, the catch is not the Asian male-White girl relationship. I am more attracted to the lines. In fact, I think I am falling for the character Liam Liu. heh~
This movie is rated as Comedy Romance. Trust me, this is not another typical silly American flick - NO slapstick jokes and low-end humour.
This is a romantic comedy in its own class. ;) |
