An extraordinary Danish film that overlays the lives of the have and the have-nots; set in India and Denmark, After the Wedding depicts the duality in this world and yet the similar miseries there are among us. Jacob sees them both and has a choice to make. Great direction and script, this is one of those films that even though it turns melodramatic at one point it is still a well rounded project. |
