This was an erudite-yet-accessible movie that I found both intellectually compelling and emotionally involving. The ideas touched on in this movie are important, meaty, and controversial. The History Boys made me think, made me laugh, and made me cry; very few movies can do all three of those. Don't miss it; you'll be thinking about this movie, its issues, and its characters for months afterward. |
