This movie deserves all the glory and accolades that comes it's way. This movie shows the gamut of our human spectrum, and challenges us reflect on ourselves through the characters. In an extreme way, it allow us to consciously choose to "become" another. From the neurotic, love-scared mom, lost dad, Rocky-like brother, logical and therapeutic judge, care-free, hedonistic neighbor/schoolmate, life-scarred teacher, stoic but struggling parental figures, parent-traumatized, sexually-deviant, but genuine friend, fallen hero looking for a home, A-type, driven girl, even a desolate but charitable pizza shop, to brilliant but voiceless Hal--if part of your human spirit isn't represented here, then check your pulse. Or, take this: a passport to the real world. Simply charming. Just...simply charming. Go watch it! |
