DEVASTATING!

This provocative movie, like Schindler's List, is very hard to watch at times. The story takes place in early 1920's Cork, Ireland, and revolves around brothers Damien (Cillian Murphy, who is excellent) and Teddy (Padraic Delaney, also wonderful!) who abaondon their civilian lives and take up arms to liberate Ireland from the Black & Tans squads of England. Everything about this film is first rate. And you'd better keep your handkerchief handy...cuz you're gonna need it. |
