what a delightful movie! I was not sure at the beginning whether the liquid oozing from the trunk was blood or candy but once this was established and the film was off and running, it was irresistable. Maggie Smith has aged gracefully over the years, and it is too bad there are not more roles for aging actresses like her and Meryl Streep. The actor who played the minister Father waS great, and I hope the family lives happily ever after. |
