Everyone seems to be dancing around the "Elephant in the Living Room" when they describe this movie.
Why didn't the critics write an honest review. Were they afraid that the movie wouldn't sell, if they called Earl an abuser instead of immature? Earl, Jenna's husband in the movie is abusive both physically and psychologically. Yet everyone who describes the movie, focuses only on the cute, funny part, when underneath there is this "dirty little secret". Do they think that wife abuse is funny or is it just easier not to write about it.??
Shame on the reviewers for not mentioning this in the their first paragraph. |
